IN FUVAHMULAH

Scattered pearls in the Indian Ocean; below equator lies The “Fuvahmulah” Island famously known as Indian Oceans Galapagos. Also known as the world’s happiest place having warm and cold waters flowing throughout the year. The north side of the island has an average temperature of 27 to 23 degree Celsius that allows the flow of healthy nutrients helping to grow hard corals enriching food sources that fascinate seasonal migratory pelagic marine life.

Femunu Kol (Tiger Shark Dive Zone)

Distance to Dive Site: 1 min

The one and only entrance of the island gives you the opportunity to enjoy a mesmerizing dive with tiger
sharks and confirmed by the dive community that this place is considered as the most beautiful dive site
in the world to dive with tiger sharks. However divers may precede a good briefing with exceptional diving
conditions.

Thona Faro (Cheers reef)

Entry level: Advanced open Water
Distance to Dive Site: 5 min

Few meters away from the south entrance of the island this dive site has slight damages from the
dynamiting during harbor project, allowing the formation of a wine glass bottom shape bay from an-Ariel
view that gives you a spin when there is current. Healthy hard coral stretching the top reef and ceiling of
the overhangs attracting most common reef fishes along with few tiger sharks are the main highlight of
the dive.

Abadhas

Entry level: Very experience + Advanced open water
Distance to dive site: 10 min

Between half ways from the harbor to the most southern tip of the island this dive site always promises
the divers to eye witness the biggest sharks in the world including Giant silver tips, Thresher, Tiger, Whale
sharks.

Fari Kede

Entry level: Very experience + Advanced Open Water
Distance to Dive Site: 15 min

The most southern tip of the island and definitely the best to part of the Island where all pelagic moves in
big numbers. We call it a short and sweet dive.

Ebithe Faro

Entry level: Advance Open water
Distance to Dive Site: 15- 20 min

South west of the island reef drop off starts about 40 meters sandy slope and goes down to 100 meter+
this dive site is a favorite among photographers for its dramatic underwater landscapes.

Hawwa Faro

Entry level: Advanced Open water
Distance to Dive Site: 20 min

This is a historical dive site that comprise of a healthy reef having a beautiful coral life also an ideal place
for a drift dive. This dive site is also famous among the fisherman to catch baitfish.

Kalho Akiri

Entry level: Advanced open water
Distance to Dive Site: 25 min

Situated at the southwest of the island, this healthy reef gives a good drift while watching the one of the
healthiest reefs where divers can spend some quality time taking pictures with over 28 different types of
hard corals.

Kandasho

Entry level: Open water
Distance to Dive Site: 20 min

A famous reef where fishermen catch their bait during southwest monsoon when ocean current flow
from north parallel to south end. This half bay shaped reef protects major current flow along the reef.
Divers should keep one eye always focusing on blue.

Maaneyre

Entry level: Open water
Distance to Dive Site: 30 min

During the northeast monsoon this place use to be the safest place to harbor. This dive site is another
fascinating place with varieties of hard corals and other healthy corals all over the place worthy to have a
look.

Aruh Fanno

Entry level: Advanced Open water
Distance to Dive Site: 35 min

Yet another beautiful reef having various beautiful corals and big coral heads stretching all over the top
reef. At this dive site you can also see different types of healthy fire corals.

Nere Muli

Entry level: Advance Open water
Distance to Dive Site: 25 to 30 min

This corner of north west of the island is known as the spectacle of hammerhead sharks throughout the
year. This dive can be very challenging since divers may face the spin current whenever there is a strong
current. It is advised to check the condition beforehand.
